How Lumengrid handles personal data on lumengrid.shop and for NDI Multiviewer and Lumengrid Record.

Who we are

The shop and product are offered under the trading name Lumengrid. The legal entity is Vision Mix LLC. This statement covers https://lumengrid.shop and related Multiviewer, Lumengrid Record, and Vision Mixer purchase, download, license, and support flows.

What we collect

  • Support form: name, email, subject, and message you submit.
  • Payments & subscriptions: billing email, payment status, plan, and related customer records processed by Stripe when you buy or manage a subscription.
  • License delivery: email address used to send a license key after a successful paid subscription.
  • Attribution (optional): if you arrive with marketing parameters in the URL (for example utm_* or gclid), we may store those briefly in the browser (sessionStorage) and pass a reference into Stripe checkout so we can see which campaign led to a purchase. This is not a tracking cookie on our site.
  • Server access logs: IP address (used to derive country), requested URL, referrer, and user agent, for security and aggregate visitor statistics.
  • On-device app data: Multiviewer and Lumengrid Record may store trial state, license key, and app preferences on your computer. That data stays on your machine unless you choose to send it to us (for example via Support).
  • Technical logs: ordinary server logs (IP address, time, request path) needed to run and secure the site.

How we use data

  • Provide the product, downloads, trial, and paid licenses.
  • Process payments and let you manage or cancel in the Stripe billing portal.
  • Reply to support requests.
  • Understand which public campaigns led to purchases (attribution), when present.
  • Operate, secure, and improve the site and product.

Legal bases (where GDPR applies)

Contract (providing Multiviewer, Lumengrid Record, and support you request), legitimate interests (security, basic analytics of purchases/attribution, site operations), and legal obligation where required. Where consent is required for a specific tool, we will ask for it.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We use processors who help us run the service:

  • Stripe — payments, subscriptions, customer portal, invoices.
  • Email delivery — transactional mail such as license keys and support replies.
  • Hosting — the servers that host lumengrid.shop.

Those providers process data under their own terms and only as needed for their role.

Cookies and similar tech

lumengrid.shop does not use a third-party advertising cookie banner, Google Analytics, or ad pixels. Checkout and the billing portal are provided by Stripe and may set cookies required for payment security. Campaign parameters, when used, are handled with sessionStorage rather than advertising cookies on our pages.

Server logs: our host keeps standard web server access logs (IP address, time, page requested, referrer, user agent) to operate the site and to count visitors by country via an offline GeoIP database. These logs are not sold and are not used for advertising profiles.

Retention

Support messages and billing records are kept as long as needed for the customer relationship, accounting, and legal requirements, then deleted or anonymized. Attribution references are short-lived. App data on your device remains until you remove the app or clear it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict personal data, or to object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To make a request, use the Support form and describe the request clearly.

Children

Lumengrid products and this shop are aimed at professionals and organizations. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

International transfers

Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our processors operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms used by those processors.

Changes

We may update this statement. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site or product after an update means the new statement applies.
